Grant

Hi everyone. I thought I'd provide an update on Grant since many of you have heard he is sick. Grant came down with RSV on Thursday. Nora had RSV the week before and despite our herculean efforts to keep them apart and disinfect our home, we had to rush Grant to the ER on Thursday afternoon. Luckily we got him there in good time and he has been doing fine in the hospital since then. He is on his way to recovery, but RSV can take its time so we have to be patient at this point. His lung sounds have improved but he is still very congested and since newborns cannot really move their secretions like the rest of us, he still requires careful monitoring. They do have him on some oxygen through a nasal tube. As of today, he is eating a little better as well. The doctors expect him to be fine and we're looking forward to getting our hungry little man back. The worst part is keeping the boys separated. They've done everything the same leading up to this point so it just feels weird having them apart. Not to mention it makes breastfeeding a little tricky. Please keep us in your prayers and please say a little prayer for Dylan as well, who has yet to show symptoms but shared everything with his brother leading up to the illness.

We are praying for a quick recovery and some kind of magical disinfecting fairy who can keep our kids healthy for the rest of the season.
