Birthday fun with Emilie

Our babysitter Emilie watched Nora last night while Jarrod and I attended some the Woodward Dream Cruise festivities with our friends Bill and Jennye. Woodward Dream Cruise is the world's largest classic car show and it takes place about a mile from our house on Woodward Ave. Anyway, Emilie is the best! Nora loves her and we love her too! She has been watching Nora since she was 4 or 5 weeks old. Nora and Emilie and Emilie's friend Erica had a great time. For Christmas, Emilie got Nora one of those sets where you make a handprint into a plaster mold on each birthday ages 1-5. Last night, Emilie did Nora's 1-year-old handprint with her. Unfortunately, Nora scrunched up her hand as soon as Emilie put it in the plaster, so it looks more like a fist, but oh well -- it's the memory that counts. Here are some pictures of Emilie and Nora.
