Well, we just returned home from a whirlwind trip that had us all traveling across six states and gone from our house for three weeks. Among the five of us, we traveled to Ohio, Iowa, Illinois, Florida, Nebraska (for an hour or so) and South Dakota. We were in the car more than 36 hours! The trip was CRAZY, highlighted by flying with all three kids (the boys each on laps) on a flight from Chicago to Omaha. We were a sight to be seen and unfortunately couldn't even spare other passengers by sitting all in one row since there aren't enough oxygen masks for all of us. We survived and are happy to be back home. The kids had a wonderful time visiting both Memaw's house in Iowa and Grandma Linda and Poppa Bob's house in South Dakota. And they only broke a couple of things in each place :) :) They enjoyed catching up with all of their aunts, uncles and cousins and so did we since we don't get to see extended family too often! I'm hoping those who took pictures will e-mail them to me and when they do I will share them. Unfortunately with no phone I really didn't get many taken!!! :(
Here's one we got taken by the Chicago River with Uncle Rudy and Aunt Nicole. At least there's one! :)
