They've pretty much done everything together at this point. They both sit up unsupported right now, but are quite happy just sitting right now and are not really trying to learn to crawl at this point. Both can sit on hands and knees but Dylan will be more patient and sit like that for longer. Grant just cut his first tooth and Dylan is working on his -- should be coming any day now.
Their personalities are completely different and really have been since birth. Both sleep really well -- 11 hours at night and two 1.5 hour naps (9 a.m. and 1 p.m.) and 1 short early evening nap if needed. Grant is definitely the more consistent sound sleeper. When they were born we always used to say "And Grant sleeps on" as he was constantly sleeping for the first four weeks. He continues to sleep better today. However, Grant is the much more loud, motivated, wild one during the day. He is constantly chattering and "shouting" at toys, his brother, Nora and me. He wears a smile constantly unless he is hungry and boy does he let you know if he is hungry!!!! He will remind me if I am one minute behind schedule. If the bottle is supposed to come at 11 -- he starts whining at 11:01.
And the statement about Dylan has always been "Dylan's chillin'" and it remains true. Dylan is quiet and relaxed most of the day. He is quite happy just layin around doing his own thing. He is very shy and always cries when he meets someone new -- major stranger anxiety. We call him our little wimp, because he cries at all loud noises. He LOVES Nora but also gets very scared if she does anything loud. Tonight she was walking around with a blanket over her head talking and he started crying. It's actually very sweet! And he is our one and only snuggler. Nora and Grant are both pretty independent but Dylan loves to be held and snuggle. He is also a very happy baby.
I feel very lucky to have been blessed with three pretty easy going kids so far. More on Nora next week as she will be turning three! She has turned into such a wonderful little girl and has really become a sweet big sister. I have been so impressed with her lately and how much more calm and pleasant she has become. She really is a good little girl. Everyone has told me three is way worse than two so we'll see if I'm saying the same thing if a few months :) :) :). She is ready to start preschool and dance in the fall. We are heading back to Iowa to celebrate her third and my 30th birthday and are planning to see so many people we haven't seen in ages. So I promise to have lots of pictures. I can't believe I'm going to be 30! Uggg!
Here's some recent pics of us just "goofin around":
First bath together - we have bathed them separately until tonight when we put them both in together. They had a blast!
Grant sleeping on his side - his preferred position
This is how we often feed them -- two at once!
All three in a clothes basket goofin around
Happy boys in the car
Nora and Daddy at the zoo looking at the giraffes
Cuddlin'
Grant kissing Dylan :) -- so sweet.

I miss them so much - can't wait to see you all! It's amazing in the pictures how similar their smiles are!
