Wow! What a year 2012 was for us. I'm so late in updating this blog. We stayed home in Michigan for the Christmas holiday and had my mom here to help and celebrate. I will do a separate post on the boys' birthday. They turned two on December 20th. We had to celebrate Christmas a little early, since Jarrod had to work Christmas this year. Our holiday included a couple of excellent meals - ham and prime rib - a wonderful church service and a very nice visit from Santa. He was very good to the kids this year. Then New Year's Eve, Jarrod and I attended the Zac Brown Band concert in downtown Detroit at Joe Louis Arena. Zac Brown played until past 12:30 - it was amazing. On New Year's Day, we flew with all three kids to San Diego for a week-long stay in my brother's stomping grounds. It was a wonderful trip! Lots of beach time, a trip to Balboa Park and a trip to Sea World. The kids had a great time visiting Uncle Rudy and Aunt Nicole!

For the boys' 2nd birthday we took them to Detroit Kid City. An indoor play museum in the area.
