Mother's Day and Iowa

Hello! Below are some more pictures from recent happenings. First we celebrated my mom's birthday with shopping trips, a night out on the town courtesy of our babysitter and ice cream cake! Then we celebrated Mother's Day with a breakfast out on the town and an awesome homemade meal from Jarrod -- strip steaks, corn on the cob, bread, the works!! Then Mother's Day evening my mom and I hopped in the van with all three kids and drove to Iowa. We needed to give Jarrod a quiet house the week before he took his oral radiology boards, which he took last Saturday. We're so proud of him! We drove through the night in order to make the trip a little easier. The boys are sleeping through the night 10-11 hours most of the time with the occasional interruption from Dylan who can be a little more difficult in the sleeping category. They both did great in the car. We enjoyed visiting family and friends back in Iowa. The time flew by and we wish we could have seen even more people. Sorry to those I wasn't able to travel and see -- we only had one car and my mom had to teach classes in Iowa City.
